Campos Basin records fall in production

The Campos Basin recorded the lowest average oil production in the last ten years. Average production of 719.37 bpd (1,000 barrels per day) represents 30,000 barrels per day less than production in March this year. The fall in production of Petrobras, the largest operator in the Campos Basin, is associated with the migration of investments to the Santos Basin, the largest region discovered in pre-salt.

Economist Cloviomar Cararine of the Interunion Department of Statistics and Socioeconomic Studies (Dieese), the FUP subsection, said that according to studies, the company's regional budget, which was previously $9 billion in 2013, rose to $3.46 billion annually in 2018, and is expected to be $2.6 billion annually between 2021 and 2025.
