Florida to receive new natural gas facility

The Budget Review Committee of the Jacksonville, Florida, recently approved the installation of a new factory liquefied natural gas (LNG). The facility should be around $542 million and will place the city as a leader in LNG exports to the Caribbean Islands.

Executives of Eagle LNG Partners Company, based in Houston, in the state of Texas, met to discuss the project, which will be built on a 200-acre stretch by the river from zoo parkway, in Jacksonville. Construction is expected to begin in the summer of 2020.
