Fugro has offshore oil mapping project

The Dutch company that provides services to the oil and gas industry, Fugro, recently announced two studies filtering in partnership with TGS in the Gulf of Mexico. For this project, Fugro will continue mapping the seafloor to gather a complete picture of geological features, including oil leaks.

Fugro also deployed two geophysical survey ships to acquire the data profiles ecosonda multibios (MBEs) and sub-fund on the western regions, central and eastern US continental slope. Both ships are equipped with MBEs systems mounted on the hull and the data collected will help subsequent extraction geochemistry campaign.
