GE opens manufacturing factory

GE Energy Connections opened your new Redhill Grid Automation in Stafford, United Kingdom. Installing Redhill will be able to combine decades of experience with cutting-edge science and data analysis, which will improve the productivity and efficiency of the company.

GE is the largest employer in Stafford, with about 1,700 employees in. About 400 people work at the site in the installation of Grid Automation, manufacturing approximately 200,000 products a year, of which over 80% are exported. These products form an integral part of the digital substation of GE, the heart of the digital network.

The digital substations manage real-time information of high-end sensors and help utilities minimize downtime of assets, keeping people connected to electricity they need daily.
