CNG STATIONS more competitive

A study by the Brazilian Association of piped gas distribution companies (Abegás) points out that the vehicular Natural Gas (VNG) follows with high level of competitiveness in relation to liquid fuels prices observed in the posts.

Rio de Janeiro is the unity of the Federation in the NGV has more competitiveness, with 65% compared to ethanol, and 57% compared to gasoline. In this state the price per kilometer run with CNG is only 0.16 R$, lowest value registered in the country, while with ethanol is 0.45, and R$ with the R$ 0.37 petrol, according to the survey.
