Government and YPFB discuss supply of LPG to Mato Grosso do Sul

It was held last Wednesday, December 12th, meeting between Humberto Salinas, Vice minister of industry and Commercialization of Bolivia, and Óscar Barriga, president of Yacimientos Petroleum fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB), to address the Natural gas supply to Mato Grosso do Sul. The meeting took place in Santa Cruz de La Sierra, Bolivia.

The topics discussed in the meeting were related to the gas supply in the term Frontier Project, which studies the possibility of LPG (cooking gas) to Mato Grosso do Sul, also discussed the participation of Bolivia in the distribution of gas to the central-South region and the Conclusion of contracts for the supply of urea in Brazil.

For Rudel Trindade, CEO of the Mato Grosso do Sul state gas Company (Msgás), one of the main objectives of this meeting was to define the schedule of actions for the participation of YPFB in the project of the Thermoelectric frontier.
