Government authorizes installation of 25 plants clean energy sources in Brazil

It was authorized by the Minister of Mines and Energy, Moreira Franco, the installation of 25 plants of clean energy sources in Brazil, among them, a thermoelectric of biomass, two hydroelectric dams, eight wind and 14 solar.

The plants will work in the states of Ceará, Bahia, Minas Gerais and Mato Grosso. The estimate is that in 2021, the national integrated system obtains about 883 MW (megawatts). For Moreira Franco, the synergies of these powers are robust, secure and have fair distribution prices.

According to the Ministry of Mines and Energy, will be invested in total R $4.5 billion in the project that can generate approximately 4000 jobs vacancies. The state of Ceará will be responsible for 14 solar plants, followed by Bahia with four wind power plants, in mines four wind, a thermoelectric and a hydroelectric, and Mato Grosso was tasked to manage the Central generation of hydroelectric.
