Government should pay $18 billion to Petrobras

The Brazilian government along with other private sources should inject at Petrobras about US $18 billion for the payment of its oil reserves. The information is from the technology company and data to the financial market Bloomberg L.P. THE Federal government must make an agreement with the State as compensation for the excesses of oil found in the field superior to the projected.

There is also the auction scheduled for October 28th, which will feature giants like Exxon Mobil and Royal Dutch Shell. Only in the field of Búzios, possibly the largest to go to auction, Petrobras spent no less than US $10 billion in two production systems. The Company has 3 million barrels in reserves, and the government estimates three additional to be exploited.
