Government signs concession agreement of ports in RJ and Pará

Continuing the Investment Partnership Program (PPI) created in the Government of Temer, the Minister of infrastructure of the government Bolsonaro, Tarcísio Gomes de Freitas, signed contracts for concession of terminals in the port of Açu, in Rio de Janeiro, and in the port of Santarém, in Pará. The current President of the Republic intends to continue the project and analyze the realization of more 23 concession auctions.

The document determines that in Porto do Açu has the construction of a terminal to generate R $21 million of m³ of natural gas per day, two thermoelectric plants for handling and storage of liquefied natural gas that will generate energy for 14 million households , and that the company gas Natural Açu makes investments of R $16 million.

In the port of Santarém, the contract will be administered by Petrobras Distribuidora S.A. and Sabbá Petroleum, establishing the transfer for 25 years can be extendable by another 25 of the fuel Terminal in Santarém (STM 05) with the investment of R $175 million and expansion of fuel storage tanks.
