Government studies incentive to reduce energy consumption

Amid the current energy crisis that has been facing brazil, the federal government is evaluating creating methods that encourage the population to consume less energy. Bento Albuquerque, Minister of Mines and Energy, said the proposal being evaluated would provide discounts or bonuses to consumers who could reduce consumption.

This week, PSR Energy had already suggested a government-like measure aimed at controlling the current situation. The campaign of consumption of water and conscious energy is one of the efforts that the MME has been making in the midst of the worst water crisis in the last 91 years.
