In 10 years, pre-salt production comes to 1.5 million barrels of oil per day

The pre-salt in 10 years has produced about 1.5 million barrels of oil a day. Petrobras ' expectation is to obtain 13 platforms for operation and US $35 billion in investments, up to 2022.

In these 10 years, the production of the pre-salt oil wells generated r $40 billion in government shareholdings, and could reach R $130 billion in four years.

Not only the accumulation of production, Petrobras also developed strongly in the technological and investment sector during that period. Its innovations from the exploration of the pre-salt were recognized worldwide by the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) award in 2015.
