In partnership with Shell, Halliburton offers integrated services in Brazil

The company Halliburton Company has signed a contract to provide drilling services for post-salt development and pre-salt exploration in the Campos and Santos basins.  The company will invest in Brazil in an agreement of integrated services with Royal Dutch Shell for a period of three years, and can be extended by two more, in order to offer efficiency in the sector and integrate multiple offerings of products and technologies.

The company works with integrated services to accelerate the development of new fields, reduce drilling costs and increase the capacity of recovery of basins through the use of innovative technologies and insights. The goal is to collaborate with Shell in its operations in the country providing solutions that can value the assets of the company.

Halliburton already has a history of investment in Brazilian pre-salt fields and even maintains a technology center in Rio de Janeiro that serves as a global core of specialization in deep water innovation and training. The technology offered by the company can quickly identify the offshore sector in search of increased efficiency and reliability. The action can promote several advances in the sector.
