International Gas Union Research Conference (IGRC) will arrive in May to Rio de Janeiro

Between 24 and 26 May, the city of Rio de Janeiro, will receive one of the most important technical event of the natural gas industry, the International Gas Union Research Conference (IGRC). Organized by IBP – Brazilian Institute of oil, gas and Biofuels, in partnership with International Gas Union (IGU), the Conference is a traveling event sponsored every three years in a different country.

In growing expansion, more specifically the Brazil Rio de Janeiro, was awarded to carry out this relevant Conference, which this year has the theme "Natural gas: Catalyzing the future", which will bring the technology as a strategic key for the future business model for the growth of the gas.

The event will bring together business leaders from all areas of the natural gas industry to discuss technology trends at the national and international scene and propose solutions to address the challenges to the development of the natural gas sector. The topics of the Conference include several segments such as exploration and production, gas transmission and distribution, industrial gas use, climate and environment, among others.
