The last year was marked by a great growth in the solar energy sector. According to data from the Brazilian Association of Solar Energy (Absolar), the solar segment attracted investments of R$ 13 billion in 2020. The number is up to 52% more than in 2019, including large power plants and distributed generation. As a part, about 86,000 new jobs were created in the area, even with the pandemic.
It is noteworthy that large solar plants are the seventh largest source of generation in Brazil, with projects in operation in nine states, in the Northeast regions (Bahia, Ceará, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Piauí and Rio Grande do Norte), Southeast (Minas Gerais and São Paulo) and Midwest (Tocantins).ACESSE AS REDES DA PANORAMA OFFSHORE:
