Iran will raise oil recovery of oilfield Forouzan

The Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC) says it will increase production of crude oil Forouzan field in the Persian Gulf, once it begins operating a new platform on the field.

The company, which operates offshore oil fields for Iran, has plans to launch projects that will add a total of 110,000 barrels of crude oil and 300 mcf of natural gas to the country's daily production capacity.

According to the oil company, most of the projects aims to stabilize the level of production of fields. The recovery of crude oil from Iran reached 763 million barrels, 24% of the total production of oil in the country.
