Iraq reaches petroleum reduction goal

Iraq's oil Minister, Jabbar al-Luaibi, stated that the country has reduced its oil production to 180,000 barrels a day, which hit part of the agreement of the Organization of petroleum exporting countries (Opec). According to al-Luaibi, Iraq will complete the plan to reduce their offer on 210,000 bpd until the end of January.

The Iraq, one of the key members of the OPEC cartel, closed at the end of November a Pact along with the other members of the organization that seeks to cut the joint production at 1.2 million bpd from this month.
