Manifold assists oil production

The manifold is a set of valves and accessories that serve to direct the production of several wells to a collector duct, which leads to total production to a production unit. In addition this equipment also has to distribute the gaslift injection, distribute water injection, allowing access to annul and make test of production and injection wells.

This type of equipment helps to reduce the number of rows (ducts) connected to the platform, as well as reduce the total length of the lines of wells used in a production system.  Can also be used to allow a group of wells share water injection systems and gas lift (lifting of oil and gas to the surface by means of pressurized gas). Among the advantages of using manifold is the reduction of cost of pipelines and umbilicals; reducing the number of risers.
