Mato Grosso may have the supply of Bolivian gas

The Bolivian government is interested in drawing up a natural gas supply contract to the thermoelectric plant in Cuiabá, from 2019. Minister of Hydrocarbons of Bolivia, Luis Alberto Sánchez, was this week in the Industrial District of Cuiabá, in order to strengthen ties with the state and re-establish a new partnership of gas supply.

Currently, the thermoelectric plant in Cuiabá is capable of generating up to 480 megawatts of power. Was also scheduled for this month of April a meeting in Bolivia to address bilateral trade and will present the ruled of Mato Grosso do Sul, Parana and Santa Catarina who also has interest in gas.
