Minister of Mines and Energy appoints Marcio Felix as secretary of Oil and gas

The Minister of Mines and Energy, Admiral Bento Albuquerque, appointed engineer Marcio Felix as new secretary of Oil, Natural gas and biofuels of the pulp, a position he had already occupied during part of the government of Michel Temer, second publication in Official Journal of the Union on Monday (14).

Former executive of Petrobras, where he became general manager of North America and Africa in the area of international exploration and production, Felix occupied the oil and gas area and subsequently the Executive secretariat of the Ministry of Mines and Energy in the fear management.

With the election of Jair Bolsonaro to the presidency, he had been exonerated and replaced in the executive Secretariat by Marisete Pereira, before head of the economic advisory of the portfolio.

Felix graduated in electronic engineering from the University of Brasilia, with specialization in petroleum engineering from Universidade Petrobras and MBA in business management from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, according to information from the Ministry.

João Vicente de Carvalho Vieira, who was in the Petroleum secretariat since mid-April last year, was exonerated, still according to the publication of the Ministry in the Official Gazette, also signed by the Minister of the Civil House, Onyx Lorenzoni.
