The Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) has set a new schedule for broadcast auctions for the years 2020, 2021 and 2022. With the measure, included in ordinance signed last Friday (10) by the folder, the expectation of the government is to make a bid later in December this year.
The previous forecast was to auction projects this year with a total of r$ 10.4 billion expected investments. Now, the dispute should involve projects totaling R$ 6.1 billion of estimated investments.
The projects that are expected to be auctioned this year involve transmission line projects and substations in the states of Rio Grande do Sul, Ceará, Mato Grosso do Sul, Amazonas, Goiás and São Paulo.
