On Monday, August 13, the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) established a working group, published in the Official Gazette of the Union, which will have 60 days for debate, on the general guidelines for the marketing of the Union's petroleum originating from the contracts of exploitation and production under the production lever system.
The members of the group will be represented by participants of the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural gas, biofuels (ANP), Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME), and the Brazilian Company of Petroleum and Natural Gas Administration (PPSA), which is responsible Currently by the Union's oil trade.
According to Ibsen Flores, president of PPSA, Brazilian company of Petroleum and Natural Gas administration, the objective is to directly access the international market. The State is striving to ensure the necessary licenses to become an oil exporter, thus suspending the dependence of auctions on the domestic market to sell the union's oil from the camps under the sharing regime.
The group will meet once a week by means of pre-convening of the Secretariat of Petroleum, Natural Gas and biofuels (GSP) of the MME, which will forward the agenda of the subjects to be discussed. The coordinator may invite technicians and specialists from the federal public administration bodies and associations.
