The structure of the Ministry of petroleum, Natural gas and biofuels (GSP) of the Ministry of mines and energy (MME) is complete with the arrival of new directors Miguel Ivan Lacerda de Oliveira and João Vicente de Carvalho Vieira, who took the Director, respectively, of Biofuels and policy departments of exploitation and production of oil and Natural Gas. The appointments were published in the last two weeks.
Miguel Ivan Lacerda is a graduate in economics Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Goiás (1996), has a master’s degree in agribusiness from the Federal University of Goiás (2006) and is a Ph.d. candidate at PUC Goiás in behavioral economics. He is the Brazilian Company career Server de Pesquisa Agropecuária (Embrapa) and passes by the Brazilian support Service for Micro and small enterprises (Sebrae) and the Ministry of national integration.
João Vicente de Carvalho Vieira has a degree in Geology at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), a master’s degree in production engineering by UFRJ and has an MBA from Purdue University, Krannert school School of Management, West Lafayette, Indiana (USA). Vasquez worked as technical adviser in the National Agency of petroleum, Natural gas and biofuels (ANP). Later, he moved to the consulting firm Gaffney, Cline & Associates (GCA) and Schlumberger Technology Corporation. Was acting as an independent consultant before arriving at MME.
