According to the Oil Yearbook in Rio 2020, a survey recently launched by the Federation of Industries of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Firjan), the state of Rio de Janeiro is expected to receive about 26,000 new jobs generated by the oil industry by the year 2024. Also according to the study, oil production in Rio de Janeiro advanced, reaching the mark of 81% of national production in July 2020, even though pandemic.
