Oil production in the country decreases 2.2%

According to the National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP), Brazil produced in January 2.2%, less oil compared to December of last year, equivalent to 2,631,000 barrels per day. The pre-salt had a total yield of 54.9%.

The Santos basin, the production leader compared the other areas, in January, had the yield of 1,303,000 oil bpd. The region of Campo de Lula was the most prominent in relation to yield capacity, with about 889,000 bpd and also the largest volume of natural gas with 38 million cubic meters per day.
