Sergipe had fall in production in April

Oil and gas production in the State of Sergipe was fall of 10.6% in April, compared to March this year, having totaled 698,000 barrels of oil equivalent (BEP).  The data are based on information disclosed in the report of the ANP.

Compared with the same period in 2016, the retraction was even greater, with percentage of 27.3% in production. Already the first trimester to 2017, the fall in production was 27.3%, compared to the same period last year, which totaled 3 million production of bep.

23.3% of the production of oil was extracted from the sea, while 76.7% was on land. In comparison with the previous month was found falling 9.8% and 10.9%, respectively. With respect to gas, the data also weren't too different. Compared with March, the retraction was 1%, but in 2016 for this year the fall was 16.5%.

ANP numbers not explain the motives in reducing production of Sergipe and is not known to what extent the data can influence negatively the State collection.
