Petrobras back to be eligible for Norwegian investment

Through a statement, Petrobras informed, last Monday (13), that again eligible to receive investments from the Norwegian pension fund KLP.

According to the company, the decision of KLP, which has a total net worth of hundreds of billions, occurred due to the strengthening of governance in the state.  "The fund stressed that the company has significantly strengthened its governance in recent years, so that the risk of corruption at Petrobras has been 'significantly reduced'," the oil company said in the statement.

Years ago, the fund had removed the company from its investment portfolio in the wake of corruption scandals.
