Petrobras beats production record in August

Petrobras hit record production of oil and gas in August, totaling 3 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed) in the month, and reaching the mark of 3.1 million of boed in daily production, both achieving record results. The figures also include the production of natural gas liquid (LGN).

The pre-salt also reached highly positive numbers, being 2.2 million boed in the month and 2.5 million boed in daily production.

"The 7 new platforms that have been operating since 2018 reached the production of 690,000 barrels of oil per day on August 8, highlighting the growth of production in Campo de Búzios," the company said.
