Petrobras agreed with Petro+ (Petromais Global Exploration and Production S.A) the transfer of its participation in The Alagoas Pole. The deal was closed for $300 million. It is noteworthy that from January to May this year, Polo Alagoas had an average production of 1,900 barrels per day (bpd) of oil and condensate and 602,000 m3/d of gas generating 0.9 thousand bpd of LGN (natural gas liquids).
The state-owned company said that this transaction follows the line of strategy that the company adopted to optimize the portfolio and improve the allocation of capital. The objective is to concentrate the active resources in the deep water and ultra deep sector, a segment that the institution has shown differential in competitiveness.
