Petrobras said last Wednesday (30) that it will sign contracts with the companies Petrogal Brazil, Repsol Sinopec Brazil and Shell Brazil for sharing natural gas flow and processing infrastructure in the santos basin's offshore pre-salt pipelines.
With the signature, there will be the physical interconnection on routes 1, 2 and 3 (the last one owned by Petrobras and under construction), giving rise to the SIE (Integrated Flow System) of natural gas. Contracts are also provided for that form the SIP (Integrated Processing System) of natural gas, which includes the access of companies to petrobras processing units in Caraguatatuba (SP), Cabiúnas (RJ) and Itaboraí (RJ), the latter still under construction.
Through these contracts, the companies will have the possibility to drain the gas produced in the pre-salt fields of the Basin by any of the export routes and process it in petrobras-owned plants.
According to the state, other companies may join the contracts, provided that there is available flow capacity.ACESSE AS REDES DA PANORAMA OFFSHORE:
