Petrobras concludes 25% demise of the snoring field for US $2 billion

Petrobras concluded the transfer of 25% of the field of Snorer to Norwegian Equinor and received on Thursday US $2 billion for the transaction, reported the Brazilian oil company in fact relevant this Friday (15).

Petrobras remains a field operator with 75% participation.

"In addition to this value, Equinor will carry out contingent payments, referring to investments in projects aimed at increasing the recovery factor of this field, carrying Petrobras in proportion 2:1… limited to 550 million dollars," said the state.

"The goal is to increase the recovery factor by at least 5%, and may bring an additional volume of approximately 500 million barrels of equivalent oil (boe)", he said.
