Recently, Petrobras sent a request to the National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) to halt the production of 29 of its fields distributed throughout the country – 16 offshore and 13 onshore. The state-owned fields, with the exception of one in Rio Grande do Norte operated by energipe, mobilize 42 platforms. The information was disclosed by the acting director of the ANP, Marcelo Castilho.
In total, the areas add up to a production of 65,000 barrels of oil per day. According to Castilho, of the 42 Petrobras platforms that will be paralyzed, ten are in the Sergipe/Alagoas basins, six in the Campos Basin (Norte Fluminense) and 26 in Rio Grande do Norte.
In the onshore medium are several production units in 13 Fields. Among them, six are in Rio Grande do Norte and six in Sergipe, all petrobras, in addition to one in a field in the Potiguar Basin of the company Energipe.ACESSE AS REDES DA PANORAMA OFFSHORE:
