Petrobras will participate in the next auction competing with 11 foreign

The ANP (National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels) released on 4 September, the list with the name of the 12 companies interested in being part of the fifth round of production sharing, scheduled to take place on the next 28th. Of the 12, only one is Brazilian: Petrobras.

The auction offers the private initiative the areas of Saturn, Titan, Pau-Brazil and southwest of Green Tortoise, located in the basins of Santos and Campos.

The analysis of the company's documentation was done by CEL (Special bids Committee), six of which were approved on August 29 and the other six, on the last day 4.

According to the ANP, the Equinor and the companies will have to provide supplementary documentation until the next 13 days. The DEA (Deutsche Erdoel AG) has not yet contracted the production and extraction of oil and natural gas in the country.
