Petrobras is recognized for environmental leadership

In report of the international Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) Petrobras appears as one of the companies that lead the ranking of commitment to emissions reduction in the annual report on climate change. The company received the certificate of Company Leader, stand out by good environmental management practices.

One of the main initiatives of Petrobras to mitigate emissions are CO2 Reinjection program associated with the natural gas produced in the pre-salt layer; the program of optimization of the use of natural gas produced on platforms; the replacement of part of the natural gas, among others.
