Petrobras to be a new executive director in May

Petrobras announced the company’s new executive director of finance and Investor relations, Andrea Marques de Almeida. The name was approved in election by the board of directors, after being nominated for office in mid-March by President Castello Branco. The director’s possession is scheduled for May 2.

Production engineer with MBA in finance and management, Andrea worked for 25 years in the Vale mining company, obtaining several experiences in the areas of corporate finance, Global Treasury and risk management. The new director is replacing the executive Rafael Grisolia, who is being appointed by the state to take command of the subsidiary BR Distribuidora.
