Through a note, Petrobras announced, last Wednesday (15), the completion of the sale of its stake in the ten fields that make up the Pampo and Enchova Poles – located in shallow waters in the Campos Basin, on the coast of Rio de Janeiro – to Trident Energy of Brazil.

According to the company, the operation was completed with the payment of US$365.4 million to Petrobras, after compliance with all the preceding conditions, and considering adjustments provided for in the contract.

The transaction also provides for a contingent payment of an additional $650 million, including $200 million disclosed in July 2019. "The amount received at the close of the transaction is added to the amount of US$53.2 million paid to Petrobras in the signing of the sales contracts, totaling US$418.6 million," the state-owned company said.
