Petrobras starts sale of concessions in the Amazon

Petrobras began the process of total sale of its stake in a set of seven onshore oil and gas production concessions. The facilities are located in the Basin of Solimões, amazonas, according to a statement from the state last Friday (26).

The concessions form the so-called Urucu Pole, and had production of 106,353 barrels of oil equivalent/day (boed). Of this total, were 16,500 barrels per day (bpd) of oil and condensate, 14.3 million barrels per day cubic meters/day (m³/d) of gas and 1.13 thousand tons/day of LPG. In addition to the concessions and production facilities, the production units are included in the sale processing of oil and natural gas production and logistics facilities of Support.
