Petrobras is in search of interested parties for the lease of two fertilizer factories located in the northeast. Fafen-SE and Fafen-BA are in the process of pre-qualification, aiming to enable interested companies to participate in future biddings, which also include the marine terminals of ammonia and urea in the port of Aratu (BA).
Fafen-SE is a nitrogen fertilizer unit with total urea production capacity of 1,800 tonnes per day (t/day). In addition to commercializing ammonia, carbonic gas and ammonium sulfate.

According to the state, the transfer of the factories will also depend on the approval of the Executive Board, which is assumed by new directors in this new government.
