Petrobras permits privatization of Transpetro

According to the single Tanker Federation (FUP), at the end of the month June, Transpetro, a subsidiary responsible for the transport and logistics of fuels of the state, through the shareholders ' meeting has obtained a new approval of the Statute, which now guarantees the end of Petrobras ' stock control, thus strengthening the path to the privatization of the company.

In addition, the new status of Transpetro directs the state to be a service provider of the market, facilitating participation in other related or subsidiary companies.

The change in the subsidiary is linked to the dismantlement of the logistics sector of Petrobras, which started with the sale of the New South-east carrier (NTS) last year, and delivered 90% of the largest pipeline network in the country to Brookfield.
