Petrobras: Oil production falls 5.4% in May

According to a survey by the National Oil, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP), Petrobras' oil production retracted by 5.4% in May compared to the previous month.

The ANP points out that the state-owned company produced, on average, 2,045 million barrels/day in May, the lowest monthly volume since June 2010. 2019. It is worth remembering that these figures are directly linked to the crisis generated by the pandemic and which hit the oil sector.  As a com of this, global demand for the product has going through turbulent periods.

Thus, although Petrobras maintained its production relatively stable in May through export records, it was not possible escapes from the effects of the crisis, as the same positive result does not was seen in the month of May
