On Thursday (17), Petrobras reported that completed the largest regasification operation of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in a floating unit (FSRU). In the operation, which took place at the Guanabara Bay terminal (Rio de Janeiro), 30 million cubic meters of natural gas per day were processed. The terminal in question consists of an island-like pier with two berths for the attraction and mooring of an FSRU ship and a supply ship.
The operation was part of a test to verify the capacity of the Guanabara Bay terminal, which has a 15-kilometer integral pipeline, to expand its operational capacity by 20 to 30 million cubic meters per day. According to a statement from the company, all stages were accompanied by a certifying company.ACESSE AS REDES DA PANORAMA OFFSHORE:
