Petrobras receives R $549 million from SBM Offshore supplier
Last Friday, October 19, the Dutch supplier SBM Offshore made the payment of R $549 million to Petrobras due to the leniency agreement between the Ministry of Transparency and Comptroller General of the Union (GCU) and the general Law of the Union ( AGU).
The agreement was signed in July, in which it anticipated the restitution of the first part of the value up to 90 days, with R $264 million relating to the administrative fine and r $285 million in anticipation of damages. For the second part of the agreement will be paid R $667 million, totaling an amount of r $1.22 billion.
The payment of the amount will be positive for the country, but it is necessary for the government to invest in sectors that need financial assistance to rise as education, health, economics, among others.
