Petrobras reduces Bolivia’s gas import

As a result of the fall in consumption and increased national offer, in a statement, Petrobras said that reduced in 45% the maximum daily volume contracted with the Bolivian State-owned YPFB. The cubic meter volume imported in recent years was 30 million, however, the brazilian State has not reported the exact amount that is negotiated and not the terms of the contract.

According to Petrobras, the current import agreement is expected to end on December 31, 2019 may be automatically extended to be removed the maximum volume contracted. Although the company is selling its gas assets, the production comes increased driven by extraction of the pre-salt.
