According to the petrobras report, published last Thursday (22), the state-owned company had a 0.8% drop in oil production in the second quarter due to the natural decline of fields and disinvestments made. However, compared to the first quarter, growth was 1.4%.
The result would be a reflection of the increase in production in the P-68 platforms, in the Berbigão field, and P-70, in the Atapu field, located in the Santos Basin. Pre-salt oil production increased 6.1% in the second quarter compared to the same period in 2020, and 3.4% in relation to the first quarter.
