Petrobras sells Polo Rio Ventura to 3R Petroleum

The Ventura River Pole, which is located in Bahia and consists of eight land fields of oil exploration and production, was purchased by the company 3R Ventura Petroleum Oil and Gas. The company bought the site for a total of $94.2 million, but that amount could still increase with possible adjustments and fixes to the contract.

In the first half of this year, the average production of the site was 780 bdp (barrels of oil per day) and 40.8 m3/ (cubic meters per day). The company pointed out that its strategy and management model is based on technical applications that involve the reactivation of wells and access to new production areas. Operations in the field begin today (15).
