Petrobras starts production in Lula Norte

Petrobras started the production of oil and natural gas in Lula Norte, in Campo de Lula, located in the pre-salt of the Santos Basin, will be operated by the platform P-67. The area has the capacity to produce 150,000 barrels of oil per day. Currently, the Campo de Lula (Deposits of Lula and Cernambi) is the largest producer in the country and must reach the 1 million brand of bpd in less than a decade since the beginning of its commercial production in October 2010.

This is the 9th unit installed in the BM-S-11 block in concession operated by Petrobras (with a slice of 65%), in partnership with Shell (25%) and Petrogal (10%). The area has the capacity to process up to 150,000 barrels of oil daily and compress up to 6 million cubic meters of natural gas.

The flow of oil production will be done by relief vessels and the production of gas will be drained by the pipeline routes of the pre-salt. In addition to P-67, the other platforms that operate in the block are: FPSO cidade de Angra dos Reis (Pilot de Lula), FPSO Cidade de Paraty (pilot of Lula northeast), FPSO City of Mangaratiba (Iracema Sul), FPSO City of Itaguaí (Iracema Norte), FPSO City of Maricá (Lula High), Fpso Cidade de Saquarema (Lula Central), P-66 (Lula Sul) and P-69 (Lula Extremo sul).
