Petrobras has release to start operation in the P-66

The National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) authorized Petrobras to start operations in the P-66 platform in the Lula field, in the pre-salt Santos Basin. The vessel platform left Brasfels shipyard in Angra dos Reis, on the 4th of February, towards the location in South Lula module.

The P-66, which has a capacity to process 150,000 barrels of oil and 6 million cubic meters of natural gas per day, is the first FPSO (replicant unit) itself Lula Consortium to be installed on pole Pre-Salt Santos basin. The vessel platform will have the function of separating oil from gas and water during the production process, and store it in the tank and transfer it to tankers.

The Lula field is located in the BMS-11 concession, operated by Petrobras which is majority with 65%, in partnership with Shell holding 25% and Petrogal Brazil has the share of 10%.
