Petrobras has a deadline to set a course for concessions

Petrobras will have a deadline to provide clarification on the concessions, to inform whether it remains with the land areas and the shallow waters or if they return them to the union. The period was stipulated by the ANP (National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and biofuels) to stimulate the resumption of activities.

The company will have up to 90 days to express itself from the date of notification of the Agency. If you choose to stay in the areas, the company must submit an application for an extension of concession contracts, accompanied by development and investment plans.

If Petrobras chooses to return the concessions to the union, but a sale occurs within that period, the State must issue a request for a suspension of the return process. However, the completion of sales should be made up to 2019.
