Petrobras ' mandatory participation as an operator of 30% of each offered area was approved by the National Energy Policy Council (CNPE), for the 6th round of bids under the pre-salt sharing regime. The decision was published in the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU) on Wednesday, February 20.
This time, the bidding involves the regions of Aram, north of Brava and southwest of Sagittarius, all in the Santos basin. The total corresponding to the signature will be R $1.845 billion. In addition, the areas of Cruzeiro do Sul (formerly southeastern Lula and south of Jupiter) and Boomerang, will be offered, but the state had no preference over them.
