Petrobras expects to receive R $2.5 billion of the ANP's diesel subsidies

Petrobras expects to receive R $2.5 billion subsidies from ANP (National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and biofuels). With the delay in payment, the company may suffer investment losses.

According to Petrobras ' financial and Investor Relations Executive Director Rafael Grisolia, "the state needs the amount to balance the factors of being holding the refinery's diesel quotes, which leaves the state overloaded" .

The ANP justifies that the delay in discharge is due to the large number of fiscal notes to be checked. The government has reserved about R $9.5 billion subsidies to diesel until the end of the grant programme, which ends at the end of the year. The program consists of companies reducing the price of fuel, and will be reimbursed by the government.
