Gasoline prices may rise at gas stations

Last Wednesday (7), there was a public hearing on possible changes in the fuel sector. The suggestion of the ANP (National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels) is that flag stations can offer two pumps from different suppliers.

The goal is to intensify the dispute between distributors in order to reduce prices, since the consumer would opt for the most into account. But representatives of major distributors said that with this change, the price of gasoline should increase, as there will be increased maintenance costs for companies.
